Community Meetings Hub
All of our scheduled upcoming community meetings about proposed development projects can be found on the tab to the right. Select the meeting and use the "Public Input" tool at the bottom of the page to provide feedback.
For a breakdown of meetings by Commission District, visit our Planning & Development Hub here.
Why are there community meetings? Community meetings are the first opportunity for residents to provide comments publicly on proposed development projects. Residents are invited to join their neighbors, the District Commissioner, and Orange County staff at an in-person meeting where the applicant will present their request and answer your questions. The Community Meeting is a time to learn more about the proposal, ask questions, and provide feedback.
Will a vote occur during a community meeting? No. This meeting is for informational purposes only.
What's the next step after the community meeting? The proposed project will go before the Development Review Committee (DRC), Planning & Zoning Committee (PZC)/Local Planning Agency (LPA) or the Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA) for a recommendation. That recommendation will then go to the Board of County Commissioners for a final vote.
How can I keep up with proposed developments in my community? Our OCFL Atlas tool includes an interactive map showing proposed development projects in the pipeline. Click the map below to see what's happening in your community.
