7851 Brentwood Drive Rezoning and Future Land Use Amendment for Industrial Uses

This is a community meeting to discuss a proposal to amend the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) designation of the subject property from Low-Medium Density Residential (LMDR) to Industrial (IND) to allow expansion of an automotive business from adjacent property. The request is associated with a rezoning request (RZ-25-12-020) to change the zoning of the site from A-2 (Farmland Rural District) to I-1/I-5 (Industrial District - Light).
The property is located in District 3 at 7851 Brentwood Drive; generally located north of Brentwood Drive, west of Narcoossee Road, and south of Market Place Drive.
The community meeting is 6 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2026, in the media center at Vista Pointe Elementary School, 6900 Market Pl Dr., Orlando, FL 32822.
Next Steps:
- Following the community meeting, the request will be scheduled for a Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC) Hearing, at which time a notice will be mailed to nearby property owners. The item will also appear on the PZC agenda which can be accessed through the County Calendar. The PZC meets typically every 3rd Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m. at 201 S. Rosalind Avenue, Downtown Orlando.
- Following the PZC hearing, the case will go to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) as a public hearing, at which time a notice will be mailed to nearby property owners.
