This is a community meeting to discuss a proposed subdivision plan within the Eagle Creek Planned Development (PD). The request is to subdivide 5.73 developable acres for 17 single-family lots, and to modify Golf Course Hole 5 by adding a dry retention pond. In addition, a waiver from Orange County Code Section 34-152(c) is requested to allow the 20-foot frontage for Tract SW-1 to be along Emerson Lake Boulevard instead of the internal subdivision street (Street A).

The property is generally located south of Tyson Road, east of Narcoossee Road. The community meeting is being held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the Cafeteria at Eagle Creek Elementary School, 10025 Eagle Creek Sanctuary Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32832.

Next Steps: This request went before the Development Review Committee (DRC) on December 3, 2025, where the DRC members recommended approval. This request has been scheduled for the March 10, 2026, Board of County Commissioners (BCC) public hearing for a final decision, notices will be mailed to surrounding property owners prior to the BCC hearing.

    This project is very early in the process; the current request is for a preliminary subdivision plan that has not yet been to the Board of County Commissioners for final approval or denial. The applicants have not communicated to staff an anticipated start date or general contractor at this stage in the development process.
