The Division of Building Safety is using new technology to improve service and convenience to its permitting customers. Use the tools below to ask questions or provide comments.

Here's what's new:

  • An AI-powered permitting assistant is now available around the clock via phone, text, and online chat to answer common questions about permits, inspections, fees, licensing, and more.
  • The new, County-developed FastQ system makes it easier to schedule permitting appointments while reducing recurring software costs
  • A Contractor Licensing Document Upload Tool provides immediate confirmation of renewal submissions and helps staff process licenses faster.
  • Customers can also now pay permit and case fees without logging into Fast Track, removing a common barrier for contractors, property owners and agents

These improvements are already making an impact, including helping cut permitting-related calls in half while giving customers more ways to get the information they need.

     Use the Permit Search to search by permit number: https://fasttrack.ocfl.net/OnlineServices/PermitsAllTypes.aspx
