Orange County's new Business Resource Office (BRO) is now available to help small business owners and entrepreneurs navigate the startup process, avoid common challenges, and feel confident throughout their business journey.

At the Business Resource Office, staff is available to answer questions, provide technical and regulatory guidance, and connect businesses to services and partner organizations. The office, located on the first floor of the County Administration Center on Rosalind Avenue, also offers referrals to workshops, boot camps and other programs focused on business growth and long-term success. Walk-in customers are welcome.

The Business Resource Office also includes an online Business Resource Dashboard. This easy-to-use platform gives business owners access to valuable local data, market insights, and business resources—all in one place.

Business owners can use the interactive mapping tool to research local business activity, identify growth opportunities, determine their jurisdiction, and connect with the right government contacts and incentive programs.

    1. Verify Zoning: Confirm that your business type is permitted at the new address (1209 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, FL 32804). Since this location is within city limits, please contact the City of Orlando Zoning Division for assistance.
    2. Update Business Registration: If your business is registered with the State of Florida, update your address through Sunbiz.
    3. Business Tax Receipt (BTR): You will need a Business Tax Receipt (BTR). A BTR from either the City of Orlando or Orange County will suffice—both are not required. Since this address is within the City of Orlando, you would obtain it through the City.
    4. Permitting Requirements: If you plan to make any interior or exterior changes to the space, permits may be required through the City of Orlando.
