OC Loves Trees Plants Trees in Tildenville

It’s hot outside. Allow us to install more of nature’s AC.

As part of our OC Loves Trees program, we recently planted 13 new trees at Tildenville Park in Winter Garden. As they grow, these trees will provide more shade, help cool the park and make those warm Central Florida days a little more comfortable.

The new leafy additions to the park include:

4 live oaks

3 southern magnolias

3 dahoon hollies

2 slash pines

1 winged elm

Through OC Loves Trees, we’re planting hundreds of trees in parks and other public spaces across Orange County using the Tree Mitigation Fund, which receives mitigation fees associated with development and tree removal.

Hurray for more trees, more shade, and a cooler, greener Orange County.
