Nonprofit Housing Repair Grant

The Non‑Profit Housing Repair Grant reimburses 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations for completing minor exterior repairs on single‑family homes in underserved areas as indicated by census tract poverty rates within Orange County neighborhoods.

• Grant is available for projects up to $20,000
• Organizations must meet all Orange County insurance and documentation requirements
• Applicants who received this grant in the previous two consecutive years are not eligible

Eligible projects include:

• Minor exterior home repairs
• Gutter cleaning & repair
• Painting & pressure washing
• Door & window replacement
• Tools, equipment & materials (up to 25% of total grant award)

Non-eligible projects:

• Major construction
• AC repairs
• Driveway, fence, garage repairs
• Interior home repairs
• Landscaping or gardening
• Lighting repair or replacement
• Plumbing
• Roof repair
• Mileage, meals, snacks, or refreshments for workers/volunteers
