Floating Eelgrass Removal
On August 20- 21, 2025 Orange County EPD contracted the removal of mat of floating vegetation (predominantly eelgrass) on an Orange County portion Lake Sue. The area of the mat was approximately 90,000 square feet. A total of 8,340 pounds of floating material was removed from the lake.
