Triploid Grass Carp Stocking
On March 6, 2026, Orange County EPD stocked six Triploid Grass Carp (TGC) in Lake Anderson. This stocking supplements the fifteen TGC added in 2023, with an estimated population of sixteen in the lake. Triploid Grass Carp are an effective Best Management Practice to control the growth and spread of Hydrilla (Hydrilla verticillata) in freshwater systems.
