Exploring International Drive just got easier and more exciting! Thanks to a collaborative effort between the Planning Division and the International Drive Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), a new wave of wayfinding is underway.


47 brand-new signs have already been installed, with 130 more coming soon.


What’s included?

  • Illuminated pedestrian kiosks with easy-to-read maps

  • Interactive QR codes linking directly to restaurants, theme parks, and shops

I-Drive District Code (Adopted February 2017)


This form-based code implements the I-Drive 2040 Strategic Vision. It introduces a Regulating Plan that defines high-density, mixed-use development zones (transects) and designates Special Zones for civic buildings and theme parks.





I-Drive 2040 Strategic Vision

The long-range vision plan outlines the District's unique opportunities and challenges. It’s built around five key goals:


  • Connected - Complete- Authentic- Prosperous- Sustainable.

     The plan also includes tools and strategies to bring these goals to life.
