This is a community meeting to discuss a proposal to amend the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) designation from Low Density Residential (LDR) to Office (O) to allow development of a proposed office building. In addition, the applicant is seeking to rezone the subject property from R-1A ( Single-Family Dwelling District) to P-O (Professional Office District).

The property is located in District 5 at 862 Courtland St; Generally location on the South east corner of Courtland Street, and Adanson Street, North of Neuse Avenue, and to the west of Eli Street.

The community meeting is 6 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026, in the Media Center at College Park Middle School, 1201 Maury Road, Orlando, FL 32804.




Next Steps:

  1. Following the community meeting, the request will be scheduled for a Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC) Hearing, at which time a notice will be mailed to nearby property owners. The item will also appear on the PZC agenda which can be accessed through the County Calendar. The PZC meets typically every 3rd Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m. at 201 S. Rosalind Avenue, Downtown Orlando.
  2. Following the PZC hearing, the case will go to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) as a public hearing, at which time a notice will be mailed to nearby property owners.
